Sugar is one of the worst components of our diets. Not only does sugar not contain any nutrients, protein, healthy fats, enzymes, or anything positive for that matter, but it actually pulls minerals from the body during digestion. There is a major difference between natural and processed sugars. As good as it may taste, processed sugars can be extremely harmful to the body even in moderation. Be conscious of what you put into your body. You cannot reach your full potential if you do not take care of yourself first.
